Amazon Rank Tracking API

Where an ASIN stands in Amazon search for your keywords, checked every day.

Track ASINs for the keywords that matter to them and see where each one stands in Amazon search on any of the 12 marketplaces: every tracked keyword is checked once a day in Amazon's default search, and each check records the organic position (or that the product was not among the results checked).

Read positions check by check with history, or by day with daily — the median, best and worst position of the day. Each check delivered to a tracked keyword is charged at the rank tracking rate; adding, listing, deleting and reading positions is free.

Checks and cost

Every tracked keyword is checked once a day, and each delivered check costs $0.0040 at list price (volume rates on request): about $0.12 per keyword per month (30-day month). Adding, listing and deleting keywords and reading positions are free; the charges appear in your usage.

Tracked keyword

One ASIN tracked for one keyword on one marketplace. rank_tracking/add returns it without latest.

The latest position record, or null before the first check. Returned by rank_tracking/list only.

Position record

One check of a tracked keyword: where the product stood among Amazon's organic search results.

asin

The tracked ASIN.

marketplace
string

Marketplace code.

keyword
string

The keyword as it was searched.

observed_at
string (date-time)

When the search was checked, ISO 8601 in UTC.

organic_rank
integer· nullable

Position among the organic (not sponsored) results, 1 = first. null when the product is not among the first checked_depth of them.

organic_page
integer· nullable

Search result page of that position, when known.

checked_depth
integer· nullable

How many organic positions the check covered (usually 100, more when the product was missing the day before).

total_results
integer· nullable

Number of results Amazon reported for the search.

matched_asin
string· nullable

The listing that was found: the ASIN itself or one of its variants or other editions, which count as the product.

matched_format
string· nullable

The label the matching listing carried in search (an edition or format), when it had one.

Positions of one day

One keyword on one UTC day, from every check of that day.
